New Promo for 'The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten' Season 2
The second season of 'The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten' arrives April 2025.
The official website for the anime adaptation of Saekisan's light novel, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, published the second promotional video and teaser visual for its upcoming second season on October 4, deemed "Angel's Day" in Japan. This date plays on the Japanese word for angel (tenshi).
The anime features a talented cast:
- Taito Ban as Amane Fujimiya
- Manaka Iwami as Mahiru Shiina
- Taku Yashiro as Itsuki Akasawa
- Haruka Shiraishi as Chitose Shirakawa
Chihiro Kumano, known for works like The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei, will direct this season under project No.9, stepping in for Li Hua Wang. The series script is managed again by Keiichirō Ōchi, who previously worked on Adachi and Shimamura. Takayuki Noguchi will be adapting the character designs once more, and music composition will be by Moe Hyūga.
The second season is set to premiere in April 2025, following the success of the first season that debuted on Tokyo MX back in January 2023, also streamed by Crunchyroll.
The story revolves around Amane, who lives alone and unexpectedly connects with his beautiful classmate Mahiru when he lends her an umbrella on a rainy day. This small act opens the door to a blossoming relationship.
Originally serialized in December 2018, Saekisan's work found a wider audience through SB Creative's GA Bunko imprint, beginning print releases in June 2019, alongside a manga adaptation by Suzu Yūki that started in January 2022 and is licensed by Square Enix.
