Allison Mack Discusses NXIVM

Allison Mack has shed light on her involvement with the controversial NXIVM cult, explicitly stating that her Smallville co-star, Kristin Kreuk, was the one who introduced her to the organization. Mack, known for her role as Chloe Sullivan, has been largely absent from public life since her arrest in 2018.

After a decade in the spotlight, Mack was apprehended by the FBI and later pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit forced labor. Following her conviction, she served 2 years in prison and was released in 2023.

Recruiting for NXIVM

In the premiere episode of the CBC podcast series, CBC Uncover: Allison After NXIVM, Mack revealed her feelings of excitement regarding the perceived power she held while recruiting women for NXIVM founder Keith Raniere. She recounted how her friendship with Kreuk included travels to several countries and discussions about personal fulfillment.

Mack reflected on their shared feelings of emptiness, stating, "We went to Syria and Turkey together, ... and just lived this kind of dream." Kreuk was allegedly enthusiastic about NXIVM, describing it as "the science of joy" and encouraging Mack to join.

Kristin Kreuk’s Position

Importantly, Kreuk has consistently denied any wrongdoing associated with NXIVM. In a statement from 2018, she distanced herself from accusations about recruiting women or participating in any illicit activities.

While Mack is keen on sharing her narrative, her future in the acting world remains uncertain. Given the seriousness of her past charges, public engagements or appearances may be limited.
